Believing, for me is a statement or ritual which inspire- experienced or tested and proven with logical and scientific theories.
We are surrounded by superstitious believes and we are forced to believe such things since birth till death. We believe on what people say but don’t dare to take any step against that believe. e.g. If any religious guru says doing certain rituals can change your present situation to a happy one or if you don’t listen to me god will punish you or do this, do that, do like this, do like that, follow this, follow that What The Hell!!!
The worst example ever I came across is of evil eye myth, if someone you dislike, enters your house n eventually something bad happens to you or your family, you consider it a bad omen, that person is evil for you. Just because of this atrocious myth so many innocent women lost their lives, so many people were ostracized just because of this baseless belief.
In India, we have lots of superstitious peoples who believe on what other say. They don’t dare to go against that statement or ritual fearing god can punish them. They are just the blind followers they don’t even want to know truth behind those rituals or statements.
e.g.: If a religious guru commands someone not to wash clothes on Monday because it is against god’s will, they will do the same. They won’t even dare or try to know the reason behind it.
Believe is not about what someone saying or said it is all about truth, proofs, philosophies and logic’s behind those things. And to find all these we have to go against all odds, against all pre-requisite notions that have the deep rotten roots settled by our so called society.
Since my child hood me and my family use to worship Peepal Tree (Ficus religiosa) but I seriously don’t know that why we worship that tree. Religious guru’s says that it is a religious tree ghosts lives on Peepal tree, if you stop worship them they will punish you.
So I decided to find a valid reason behind worshiping a tree, I stopped worshiping Peepal Tree till one month and nothing bad was happened with me and I searched for the reasons behind
worshiping this tree and I found that PEEPAL TREE CAN PRODUCE OXYGEN AT NIGHTS which other trees can’t. That’s why our ancestors treat that tree as special tree.
Hindus worship lord Shiva; we usually pour milk on Shiva Linga because people believe that if you pour milk on Shiva Linga then Lord Shiva will fulfill your desires especially on Shiv Ratri.
So I decided to go against the set notion rather I gave that milk to a hungry stray dog it drank all milk, licked my hand and wagged its tail with happiness. I also felt the happiness equivalent to the blessing in my heart. I just put 2 flowers and pour some water on Shiva Linga. After that I decide to read Shiv Purana (Whole knowledge & teachings of Lord Shiva) and I found that, even lord Shiva never asked to worship him with milk or money. Lord Shiva love to live with nature he is so far from all materialistic things. In whole Shiv Purana, he asked to help humanity, live with nature take care of this beautiful nature, take care of all creature created by nature. It is equal to worshiping Lord Shiva.
God is energy which flows in everything from universe to seas, from humans to animals, from trees to mountains, Feel that energy god present everywhere from dew drops to flowers, from water to humans. Be human help nature to grow.
I have lots of other examples which were experienced by me that helped me understand the reason behind those rituals or sayings.
“Believe is all about logic’s and truths not blind faith. Blind faith is dangerous for present and future. Each & Every Religion is suffering from Blind faith and blind followers.”
“Blind faith on something is equivalent to committing suicide. Don’t be a blind follower, always try to find truth and facts compare them with logic’s and philosophies.”
